Our Brewing Philosophy

At Spearhead we believe that rules were meant to be broken, so when brewing our beer we dispense with inhibitions and preconceptions. We don't observe traditional style categories. We believe that there are no boundaries when making beer. Instead, we believe in the limitless potential of beer. We use unusual ingredients and brewing methods to make beer that challenges the imagination, both yours and ours. We don't want our beer to fit in; we want it to stand out. We may do some crazy, unusual things in making our beer, but for us that's what it's all about!

We brew our unique, handcrafted beer in small batches, using the finest, freshest ingredients. Our beer is "real beer," meaning that it is non-pasteurized, unfiltered and naturally carbonated so that, when served, the yeast is still alive and conditioning the beer. There may be some sediment at the bottom. This is a good thing! It means that all of our beer's flavour is in your glass. We hope you love drinking our beer as much as we love dreaming it up and making it for you.
